Call to sign up to our “Pothole Petition”

Every Cloud, along with Ron’s Bees and many of our customers, has become very concerned by the state of the drive into the car park at Stanton. As winter progresses the existing potholes can only be made worse by the inevitable frosts - and the arrival of 40 tonne lorries that collect timber from the compounds. At some point, people may stop coming to the park because of the risk of damage to their cars. But before this happens we would welcome your support in asking the Council to undertake immediate remedial work. Our petition is available in the Farmhouse during our opening hours until the end of November or feel free to send us an email on info@everycloudartscrafts.com simply stating your support with your full name & address please.

Do you know?

Early in 2020 Every Cloud is planning to transfer registration with the Financial Conduct Authority as a non-profit making co-operative to the Charity Commission as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation – a relatively new legal structure. Very little, if anything, will need to change but it will serve to remove any ambiguity for Swindon Borough Council, funding bodies and the general public that we are not a ‘business’. As a charity, we will need to appoint up to 3 Trustees to take a role in the ‘new’ organisation to help us going forward. If you may be interested please get in touch with our secretary, Anne on 07796 530 560. For more information about Every Cloud read our latest annual report and our Statement of Financial Activities. Any questions or comments you may have we will be happy to answer. And don’t forget our website as a source of information too!
